We have been very busy so I'll just start where I left off.
Birthday Celebration-May 22nd
Patrick's mom had a milestone birthday this year so the kids decided to treat her to a special gift, we went to see the Billy Elliot musical in Chicago! The girls went to the show while the guys did some golfing and then we met up for dinner afterward. Here are some photos to document the travels!
The photo on the top was taken in the theater (illegally I might add...I thought "No Photos" meant only during the production, boy was I wrong and did we know about it!!). We had front and center seats (very literally) for the show. We could reach out and touch the conductor. I had a feather float in my eye and we were coughing on the fog machine but it was a great show and very exciting to be right in the action (again, literally)!
The photo on the bottom was taken on the walk to catch a cab afterward!
We ate at a family-style Italian restaurant and we were there for many hours. It was sooo yummy and a ton of fun!
Daniel and Erin
Chuck and Cathy
Michael and Kari...Sorry Kari, I know you don't like this photo but I couldn't resist, it's too perfect!!
Michael and Aunt Anne

Daddy and Mommy!!
Memorial Day Weekend- The next weekend was Memorial Day. We babysat for a few hours for Ryan. He was so good, what almost 2 year-old would sit on the coach, sip on his sippy cup and chill on a Saturday afternoon?? Ry-guy will!! Mark and Jacob went to see Shrek 3 in 3-D and Ryan stayed with us while Betsy got ready for the Jacob's big party. Aunt Erika and Uncle Patrick's house is pretty boring for a 2 year old at the moment. Luckily we were able to find Sesame Street on Netflix and he was content with that!
Jacob's 4th Birthday!!
On the 30th, we celebrated Jacob's birthday. He was so excited when we saw him the day before. He even invited our friends, Mimi and Greg, and he doesn't even know them!
Betsy did a superb job decorating a Superman cake. Jacob is obsessed with Superman these days and is always sporting his cape. He opened gifts and then one box contained a set of keys. This present was for him and Ryan both. He went out to the backyard and discovered a GATOR!!! Whoa, was that a cool gift. It took no time for Jacob to figure out how to drive that thing all over the backyard. The funniest was when Jacob and Ryan rode together. They look like they're off to rescue someone in distress.
And a 23 1/2 week bump photo! I've never been a "shorts" gal but I think this summer will be a huge exception. Dang it's hot with all these extra layers.
