Bump Chronicles - 18 weeks

Here we are!  18 weeks.  I'm feeling great and Baby is growing.  I officially no longer fit into my normal pants. I'm loving the "secret belly" pants that have the thick elastic waist. 
According to my readings, Baby P is now 5 1/2 inches long and about the length of a bell pepper.

It freaked me out a little to see the baby size compared to food, with the final food being a pumpkin....eek!! It's amazing that my belly will stretch to envelope something the size of a pumpkin, whoa. 
Baby P's fingerprints are nearly complete and the ears are developed enough to hear.  If a light were shown on the womb he/she could detect that too.  Baby P has about 200 bones and by birth will have 300.  Later some of the bones will fuse and give the normal 206. Wow!  I'm completely intrigued:)  Our 20 week ultrasound is now less than 2 weeks away, May 13th!
