Bump Chronicles - 16 weeks

It was 16 weeks on Thursday! We had our appointment on Tuesday and we got to hear the heartbeat again. This time it was whoosh, whoosh, whoosh mixed in with a little static. The static was the baby moving. Whoa, is that cool or what?? I feel like I may be able to feel a little tap every once in a while but I'm pretty excited about feeling Baby P move. Unfortunately it may be a while before Patrick can feel it too.

For you seasoned and recent moms out there, you probably already know this but I find it fascinating...
- In the next few weeks, Baby P will double in size
- Right now Baby P is the size of an avocado and is 4.5 inches long.
- Baby P's heart is pumping 25 quarts of blood a day...maybe that's why I'm so thirsty all of the time:)

I'm feeling much better, my nausea is completely gone and I have a lot more energy. My acne seems to be improving as well, although I'm not holding my breath on that one, it seems to be a never-ending battle that I fight. Oh well, there are worse things in life, that's why God invented make-up:)

I still don't feel that I'm showing all that much, my doctor said that I probably won't show a whole lot for at least a few more weeks because of my height. She said a big advantage us tall ladies have is we can push out babies much easier...thank the Lord!

Here we are!
