This weekend Patrick's family spoiled us by throwing a baby shower. It was perfect!! My sister-in-laws and Patrick's mom planned a fantastic shower and had the cutest decorations. There were about 20 people there and we got some very nice gifts. Thank you to all who attended and to the hostesses, it was simply wonderful!!

Here are some pics of the food and the cake! We had some awesome egg casseroles, fruit, cheese and crackers and that pastry I can't remember the name of but it was sooo yummy! Note all of the pink, I think someone has a hunch it's a girl;)
Cris brought us this little treasure....it's made out of diapers!! I'll put in a plug for her business while I'm at it telling you this story....she does calligraphy for all sorts of occasions (and is very good at it by the way). So, back to the story, she traded some of her calligraphy work for this cake! It had receiving blankets, onesies, jammies, washcloths, bibs, a bottle and toys to decorate it. There was at least an entire package of diapers that made it up, there were a lot of them! I thought it was so adorable. Here it is!!
And....drum roll please....here are the girls!!! 3 of the 4 sisters I never had growing up (Betsy is the fourth!!) and my second mom!! Thank you for a wonderful shower, it is much appreciated:)
